The first double megapixel model in the C-900ZOOM series is equipped with a versatile 5.4 - 16.2 mm 3x zoom lens (corresponding to 35 - 105 mm on a conventional 35 mm camera). Should this level of magnification not suffice, however, images can be enlarged by a further 1.6, 2 or 2.5x with the digital tele. To give the best possible accuracy, measurements for exposure and focussing are made through-the-lens (TTL). And, allowing great photography in all sorts of lighting conditions, the C-990ZOOM permits exposure compensation to +/- 2EV in 1/2 EV steps, as well as spot metering.
